Day rhythm over attraction count

Paris feels better when each day has a walkable core, one major cultural block, and an evening neighbourhood. Trying to “do” the whole city in three days is how trips collapse into queues.

Day one: river and islands

Start central. Keep museums optional on day one so jet lag does not own the itinerary. Use cafés as pacing tools, not filler.

Day two: one museum, then a long walk

Pick one museum or gallery and protect the afternoon for walking. Paris is a walking city; that is the feature, not the afterthought.

Day three: a neighbourhood deep cut

Spend a half-day in one arrondissement you have not rushed through. Let the place dossier and your saved stops decide the rest.
